Matt is a University of Manitoba graduate with a background in high-level hockey, which sparked his passion for physiotherapy.
Over the past few years, Matt has completed internships with both the Winnipeg Jets and Winnipeg Goldeyes. He has also covered sports such as AAA hockey and Manitoba Premier League Soccer. Matt is currently in the process of obtaining his Sports Physiotherapy certificate. Additionally, he has taken additional courses on concussion management, ACL rehabilitation and post operative hip and shoulder rehabilitation.
He takes an evidence-based approach, combining manual therapy and tailored exercise programs to reduce pain, restore movement, and support recovery. With experience helping post-surgical patients, those with injuries, and athletes returning to play the sports they love, Matt creates a collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to reach their goals.
